1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TablesTap's restaurant management platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable GST regulations.

2. Services Provided

TablesTap provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for restaurant management including:

  • Online table booking with payment processing via Razorpay
  • Digital menu management and order processing
  • GST-compliant billing and financial reports
  • Role-based staff management (Chef, Waiter, Billing Counter)
  • Customer-facing restaurant discovery and booking

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

3.1 Restaurant Owners

Restaurant owners are responsible for: maintaining accurate menu and pricing information, ensuring correct GST registration details (GST number, FSSAI licence), managing staff access responsibly, and complying with all applicable Indian food safety and tax regulations.

3.2 Customers

Customers must provide accurate booking information including valid name and Indian mobile number. Booking fees paid through Razorpay are subject to the restaurant's refund policy.

4. Table Booking Policy

Important Booking Terms:

  • Time slots are available in 30-minute intervals from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
  • Customers must report to the restaurant at least 10 minutes before their booked slot.
  • Failure to report on time may result in the table being released to another customer without refund.
  • Only the restaurant owner or authorised reporting staff can change table status from Booked to Available.
  • Online booking fees are set by individual restaurant owners and may vary per table.
  • Payment is processed securely through Razorpay. TablesTap does not store payment card or UPI details.

5. GST and Billing

TablesTap applies GST as per Indian restaurant tax regulations:

  • Standard Rate (5%): 2.5% CGST + 2.5% SGST — applicable to restaurants without AC or liquor licence. Input Tax Credit (ITC) not available.
  • Premium Rate (18%): 9% CGST + 9% SGST — applicable to restaurants with AC facility or liquor licence. ITC available.
  • Restaurant owners are solely responsible for ensuring correct GST type selection and filing their GST returns with relevant authorities.
  • TablesTap provides GST-formatted reports as a convenience tool and does not provide tax advisory services.

6. Payments via Razorpay

All online payments are processed by Razorpay Payment Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. By making payments through our platform, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service. TablesTap is not responsible for payment failures or disputes arising from Razorpay's services.

7. Limitation of Liability

TablesTap is a technology platform facilitating restaurant operations. We are not liable for: food quality or safety at partner restaurants, disputes between restaurants and customers, GST filing errors by restaurant owners, payment failures by third-party payment processors, or service disruptions due to force majeure events.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. Restaurant owners whose accounts are terminated will lose access to dashboard features but their GST records will be retained as required by law.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual negotiation within 30 days.
